Please check this section periodically for updates on the precautionary measures being undertaken at the Dubai Exhibition Centre (DEC) and in Dubai, UAE.

As part of a comprehensive COVID-19 risk management plan, all workforce involved in an event taking place at DEC must have two doses of the vaccine by 1 October. This includes all organizers and exhibitors, unless exempted. Vaccine status will be validated during the accreditation process.

Delegations, Exhibitors, and Speakers from outside the UAE are strongly encouraged to be vaccinated. Those that are not vaccinated will be requested to present a valid PCR test that does not exceed 48 hours. A PCR test will need to be taken every 48 hours of their participation in the event. Such individuals will receive temporary accreditation which they will be required to show, along with their PCR test result for entry to DEC.

We kindly ask our partners to be understanding that PCR testing requirements may change during the event – we will communicate any changes as soon as they happen.

If you have received the vaccine in your home country, you will need to register your vaccination before traveling, through ICA UAE Smart App, or visit Website:

Upon approval of the vaccination certificate, you will be able to access it through the UAE’s “Al Hosn” app. If you are facing issues with your vaccination registration, please contact the ICA office at: Tel: +971 249 5555, or contact call center: 600 522222, or Email:

Visitors and delegates aged 18 and above will be required to present a proof of vaccination or a negative PCR test taken within 72 hours prior to accessing DEC. These entry requirements will be checked at the pedestrian screening area leading to DEC at the 2020 Plaza. DEC however retains the flexibility to introduce measures in accordance with changes and directives of the UAE government’s precautionary measures and legal requirements.
